Department of Veterans Affairs

The VA Health Care System in Louisiana offers comprehensive medical services to our veterans across the state. Key facilities include Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, the Alexandria VA Health Care System, and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans. Each center is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support tailored to the unique needs of our veteran community. We are proud to serve those who have served us.

VA Shreveport Health Care

 We provide health care services at five locations across Louisiana, southern Arkansas, and east Texas, including the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center and four community-based outpatient clinics. 

VA Alexandria Health Care

We provide health care services at seven locations in Louisiana, including the Alexandria VA Medical Center and six community-based outpatient clinics in Fort Polk, Jennings, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, and Lafayette. 

VA Southeast Louisiana Health Care

We provide health care services across southeast Louisiana, including the New Orleans VA Medical Center and 8 community-based outpatient clinics in Baton Rouge, Bogalusa, Franklin, Hammond, Houma, Slidell, St. John Parish, and Baton Rouge South.
